LUCKY #13

#13. Read the Bible everyday for a complete week, and write a summary over what I read each day.

What better way to start a new chapter in my life? When in doubt, turn to God, well at least that's what the "old folks" say. Right now I can only go off my faith, and trust that everything will work out in the end. After spending the last few days with my pops, and soaking up some wisdom I believe that the best thing I own to date is my faith. I put all my trust in the Lord, and live each day with my faith guiding me.

"Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."

101 THINGS IN 1001 DAYS ...

The Mission:

Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:

Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?

Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks. This is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

1. Collect & Bottle sand from 5 different beaches across the word; two being from outside the U.S.

2. Throw a formal roof top dinner party with at least 25 guest.

3. Go swimming with dolphins outside of the U.S.

4. Eat 5 exotic delicacies from different countries.

5. Drive from New York to California in a RV.

6. Volunteer 200 hours to an organization of my choice.

7. Take pictures of 5 different skylines & bridges.

8. Go without sweets for an entire month.

9. Work out twice a day for 1 hour, for two weeks.

10. Take a stripper class and put on an actual performance at the end of my training.

11. Learn a foreign language, be able to visit the country of choice, and speak to the locals the entire trip.

12. No computer/web/bbm/txt for an entire week. Only phone calls.

13. Read the Bible everyday for a complete week, and write a summary over what I read each day.

14. Visit the White House & complete the tour.

15. Complete a jigsaw puzzle with @ least 500 pieces.

16. Host a 5 day camp for the underprivileged.

17. Drive a luxury sports car at 115 mph.

18. Go into a Walmart during peak hours, load my basket with condoms, spray paint, weed killer, baby clothes, red meat, and printers. Next, go to the front, let the person ring me out, then say, "I forgot my money at home."

19. Go to a nude beach and be nude myself.

20. Take a helicopter ride around 3 major U.S. cities.

21. Complete and pass a full U.S. army physical agility test.

22. Sit court side for a complete NBA finals series.

23. Go a complete 48 hours without speaking. No verbal communication no matter what.

24. Go inside a bank with a trench coat, hat, and sun glasses.

25. Save an additional 5k in a savings account.

26. Host a costume party, not for Halloween, with at least 50 guest. Everyone wearing a costume.

27. Wear black for an entire month.

28. Take 2 of the 4 (massage, photography, cooking, or Kama Sutra class ).

29. Pose for a professional nude painting.

30. Fly a huge kite in a public park.

31. Spend a weekend on a yacht.

32. Buy lunch for 50 random people (not knowing them at all), take pictures of the receipt each time, and build a scrapbook.

33. Read the entire set of Genius Book of World Records.

34. Go to a book reading and have the book signed by the author.

35. Write a song, have someone record it, and put it in mp3 format.

36. Visit the set of a TV sitcom.

37. Learn to play an instrument.

38. Host a sushi/wine party where a professional comes in and teaches a group of 10 guest to make sushi.

39. Take pictures of 10 famous statues.

40. Visit 10 restaurants from The Food Network show "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives."

41. Go to bed at 9 pm everyday for a week straight.

42. Give personal holiday greeting cards to 5 people who work at places where you get service. (Bank, cleaners, dealership, restaurant, etc.)

43. Cut my own hair.

44. Not eat out for a whole calendar month.

45. Read 5 new books by black authors; one being a self help.

46. Write a hand written 4 page thank you letter to a friend or family member.

47. Visit 5 historical landmarks with at least 5 pictures from each.

48. Visit the Civil Rights Museum.

49. Throw a yard/garage sale.

50. Attend the annual White Party at Diddy's East Hampton estate.
